About this site

One backyard, a lot of pellet grills, and a rule against printing numbers nobody measured.

I'm Oleg Galeev. I have been cooking on wood pellet grills since 2020, when the first one landed on my patio and immediately taught me that the marketing temperature and the grate temperature are two different numbers. Since then manufacturers have been sending units for testing, and the ones they did not send, I got my hands on anyway.

The cooks end up on my YouTube channel, OleGrill, which exists mostly because a temperature chart is easier to trust when you can watch the brisket that produced it.

This site covers wood pellet grills, pellet smokers, pellets, and the accessories that matter. Nothing else. No gas grills, no pizza ovens, no five hundred filler recipes. When a grill is discontinued we say so and name its real replacement, and when we have not tested something ourselves, the page says Researched instead of pretending.

How rankings work is documented at how we test, and how the site earns money is at disclosure. If a score ever looks wrong to you, the protocol is public: run it and argue with data. That is the fun part.
